Finally we had some time to upload the new tees. If you bookmarked this page you wouldn’t have seen the lookbook that’s on the index. have a look at it here and go to the shop to check them out. The set of tees are called ‘The White Collection’ and  feature 3 artists: Joran Rapa Manche, Niki Young and Lisa Zammit Endrich. I will post a bit more info on who’s who, what music they listen to and what they do when they’re pissed off. Chilly Gonzales, the Canadian born pianist extraordinaire has done it again. A fresh new approach on the art of mixtapes Pianist Envy is strangely brilliant. Half an hour of what all I can think to call call “piano remixes” of songs from Lil Wayne to Daft Punk. Between his piano remake of Waves, holding the record for longest solo performance, which lasted 27 hours, three minutes and 44 seconds, and now this, Gonzales has proved himself to be someone we should all keep an eye on.

I am a massive fan of Foals… The band not the baby horses, and they have finally released a song off their up and coming album ‘Total Life Forever’. When I first started listening I was expecting Foals’ trademark math rock calculated guitar riffs and jumpy vocals. To my surprise a very toned down, emotional euphoria inducing side of Foals was exposed. A slow burning number that escalates so perfectly, manifesting into a beautiful heart warming tune.

If this is the standard at which ‘Total Life Forever’ will be, I think were in for a treat.

Thanks to this dude and dudette over here, we are now available in Baystreet Paceville. Not to sound cheesy or biased, but I really think its one of the coolest shops on the rock. It’s called Riot, and is owned by non Maltesers Aki & Zoe, whom we thank from the bottom of our fat, golden heart. It’s a relatively new streetwear shop/cafe that stocks cool brands like Vans, Dickies, Electric, Stüssy and some custom clothing designed by Zoe. You’ll also be seeing a lot of Aki here too in the coming month. Go there, have a coffee or Corona and browse through the cool tees and caps.
