On a Saturday, when your head is painin’ from the last night’s antics, I heavily advise you sit your pretty little butt down and watch VH1. Loads of missed gems will start to appear. Here are 2 of my finds, that you may have missed:

LYTZ- 3 days awake – LOVE the video of this one!

Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley- Jack your Body. An ‘87 song!

Clarpes… :P

Ok, so I haven’t been writing that much here, but i have a perfectly good excuse why not. We’ve been busy designing the new and improved site and securing a spot over at Rockabilly, a streetwear shop in Malta. So, there you go, we have our first ever stockist and brand spanking new site with all the mixtapes, a gallery (which you can send in your pics) and more stuff to kill some time.

Oh, and the collection is ready and will be available soon! It’s called the ‘white collection‘: a series of 6 tees, 3 of them done by talented illustrators and 3 of them by us. We’re also gonna launch a couple of caps too. In the meantime, if you’re on the rock go and have a look in Mosta.
As one of our crazy friends would say, “Pats on backs” to us.

A few amazing films opened over the weekend for your viewing pleasure. The long awaited Where the Wild Things Are , a film which is based on the amazingly popular children’s book (about 20 sentences long!), which I am crazy excited for! The soundtrack in A-MUH-ZING, with Arcade Fire alone doing it for me! Don’t you dare miss it!

Another film which looks pretty hot is New York, I Love You, which is a ‘Love Actually’ type of film, but a bit more Indie, and an amazing cast.

Last but not least, the seemingly AWESOME Black Dynamite which is a throw back to the amazing 70’s films. Just check out the trailer yourself:

Now go entertain yourself!

ken

The infamous Japanese manga series illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, is back in the form of a video game. Several licensed Hokuto no Ken video games have been released in Japan throughout the years but this new one is different in one way more than others… it’s gonna be released in Western regions! So we get to play it too. Two game modes will be available, one that will have a more action adventure feel, and will follow faithfully the events of the first series of the anime, and another mode that will be more similar to the classic Musou gameplay (one player vs hundreds). You will be very happy to hear that blood will be fully displayed, and not censored… truly Ken Shiro-esque.

No blogpost about ‘Fist of the North Star’ would be complete without embedding the “Tough Boy” soundtrack to the TV series which made Ken Shiro a household name. This was way back in the mid 80’s. Enjoy the karaoke text, if you can read it!
