Andrew Bird is one hell of a talented man. Known to be musically proficient at the violin, whistling, guitar, mandolin, and glockenspiel, as well as being a singer songwriter. There are two aspects to any band/songwriter that help me decide how much I like them, the live act and the songwriting. Bird has got both but find he excels when confronted with an audience. With his complicated looping methods, proving that he really is a multi-instrumentalist and showing us all how one can be good enough at whistling to have it considered an instrument Bird has won me over.
