Yeah, for all you gamers following the scene lately, its no secret. Tom Clancy’s latest Splinter Cell installment, “Conviction”, will be partly based in Malta. For the benefit of our foreign readers – thats the island Fat Gold is based in. Malta is not depicted with the usual sunny beaches, and sun ‘n’ fun activities. (I wonder why?) Most of the scenes appear to be based around Valletta – our historical city. Also, apparently the sun never rises here…
In this game Samuel Fisher is looking for the killer of his daughter, who has been killed in an hit-an-run at the beginning of the last game. He has abandoned the agency he worked for and is now striking out alone. He thought his daughter’s death was an accident but when he finds out it wasn’t, he goes solo.
For all us Maltese Playstation 3 owners it sucks. Why? Cos its an XBox 360 exclusive title. We’ll get you one day Bill…
