Lately I’ve been in Retro mode. Gaming and TV that is… I’ve been playing Super Mario Bros 3 on my old Nintendo NES system, watching episodes of Alf off YouTube, and generally missing the 80’s and 90’s. While looking around on YouTube I came across this vid. Contrary to the title of the video, its actually a summary of how the Nintendo NES brought the video game industry back to life – and not a history of Nintendo. For all you Super Mario fans out there this is a must see. Nintendo had to balls to do it alone even after being turned down by Atari. 25 years or so afterwards, it seems they were right!
