I am a massive fan of Foals… The band not the baby horses, and they have finally released a song off their up and coming album ‘Total Life Forever’. When I first started listening I was expecting Foals’ trademark math rock calculated guitar riffs and jumpy vocals. To my surprise a very toned down, emotional euphoria inducing side of Foals was exposed. A slow burning number that escalates so perfectly, manifesting into a beautiful heart warming tune.
If this is the standard at which ‘Total Life Forever’ will be, I think were in for a treat.
