Who could forget the psychedelic freaks of 2008, otherwise known as MGMT? Their hits like ‘Time to Pretend’, ‘Kids’ and ‘Electric Feel’ were blasting out of any sound device you passed that summer.
Well come January 2010, their new album ‘Congratulations’ is set to be released. I know… fuck yeah, right? Well three of their songs from the album have already been debuted in a few recent gigs of theirs (‘Congratulations’, ‘It’s Working’ and ‘Song for Dan Tracey’, and the great thing is they sound far less commercial then their last hits, which means far less chance of it eventually being abused so hard that you would never want to hear it again.
